As a natural leader and an out-of-the-box thinker, Kirsten brings creative coaching strategies for transcending conflicts, misunderstandings and isolation into powerful connections that sustain present and future efforts.
In 2003 Kirsten founded and developed K. Allen Company, an organization devoted to coaching and mentoring individuals and groups, including CEO’s and Directors of not-for-profits, professors and administration at universities, emerging leaders, business owners, and social entrepreneurs. Her clients have included the Business First Bank, Girls Scouts- Louisiana East and Louisiana State University.
Her thirst for knowledge has led to 250 hours of coach training. She is a teaching assistant who provides ongoing feedback and coaching evaluations of students through Laser Coach Your Way to Sustainable Success, an ICF-approved coach training program. She continues to stay abreast of the latest coaching strategies through working with a mentor coach and mentor group with colleagues. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the largest non-profit professional association worldwide, with more than 10,000 members in 80 countries. In 2008 she received her Professional Certified Coach certificate through the ICF.
Kirsten provides executive coaching at all levels regarding transition, focus, conflict resolution, team building, creating new market spaces, and shifting current business strategies. Her clients experience sustainable results and realize their visions. She is cited and consulted by local media as an expert in her field. She co-authored “Top Ten Ways to Know You are Getting Great Value from Your Coach.”
Kirsten graduated from Louisiana State University with concentrations in Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology. From an early age she advocated for womens’ issues, environmental awareness, and civic engagement.Kirsten’s social entrepreneurial spirit has led her to open the doors of several businesses to inspire and affect change in society. She translates those passions into her work as a coach who facilitates collaborative visions, empowered individuals, and thriving communities.
